NordPass is a capable business password manager backed by Nord Security. SealedKeys is different in specific ways that matter to technical teams — SSH keys, EU hosting, Cyber Essentials certification. This is an honest comparison.

NordPass stores all secrets as generic password entries. SealedKeys has dedicated SSH key and API key field types — the right layout for each secret, with environment tagging and description fields.
SealedKeys runs on Hetzner EU infrastructure on all plans. NordPass's data hosting is not explicitly EU-only by default — relevant for UK GDPR and EU data residency requirements.
SealedKeys is UK Cyber Essentials certified. NordPass is not (as of May 2026). This certification is required for some UK government supply chain contracts.
SealedKeys completed an independent penetration test in May 2026 with zero exploitable findings across 42 test cases. NordPass does not publish equivalent recent test results.
When a contractor or employee leaves, SealedKeys generates a checklist of every secret they accessed — so you know exactly what to rotate. NordPass has no equivalent.
SealedKeys Pro is £3.49/user/month. NordPass Business is approximately £4.99/user/month billed annually — a meaningful difference at team scale.
NordPass has mature browser extensions for Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge, plus iOS and Android apps with auto-fill. SealedKeys is currently web-only.
NordPass is backed by Nord Security (NordVPN). It has a larger user base and longer track record than SealedKeys.
NordPass Business includes a data breach scanner for corporate email domains. SealedKeys includes HIBP per-password breach checking but not domain-level email scanning.
Both use zero-knowledge architecture where encryption happens client-side before data leaves your device. NordPass uses XChaCha20-Poly1305; SealedKeys uses AES-256-GCM. Both are strong. SealedKeys has a published May 2026 pentest with zero exploitable findings. NordPass does not publish equivalent recent results.
Yes. Export your NordPass vault as a CSV file and import it into SealedKeys using the generic CSV importer. Login items map directly. SSH keys and API tokens stored as generic passwords will need to be moved to the appropriate typed fields after import.
Not yet. A browser extension is on the SealedKeys roadmap. If auto-fill in the browser is important to your workflow, NordPass currently has the advantage.
SealedKeys is Cyber Essentials certified and hosted on EU (Hetzner) infrastructure by default — both relevant for UK compliance and government supply chain requirements. NordPass is not Cyber Essentials certified and does not provide EU-only hosting by default.
NordPass is a product of Nord Security, the same company behind NordVPN. It was launched in 2019. While the brand association adds credibility, being part of a larger VPN company means the product roadmap is shared with multiple products. SealedKeys is focused solely on secrets management.
